Just buy a print server and hook the printer to a print server that way any computer can print to the printer and there's no need to "share" the printer through another computer.

The real kicker is that it DID work (The 6310) when I first bought it, but
subsequently has stopped working and it is a HP printer and a HP
computer!!!!
