   Unless you are dragging to another device, various versions of windows
may not consistent on this point.
   Holding either "Ctl" key changes it from "move" to a "copy."

   ?  I don't think anyone has mentioned pressing "Ctl + C" copies the range to
the "past board buffer" "Ctl + X" is the "cut" command and "Ctl + V" is the paste
command, as shown on every menu system.  (Holding either shift key while
cursoring is ranging.)    The X system used by LINUX works the same way for
compatibility.
   I use the keyboard as much as I use the mouse, possibly more.
