[Ham-Computers] Dell recovery disk.

Mike, WE0H relayed following from you:

"Dell will furnish one free copy of the recovery disk (or would a year
ago)". I have a Dell Dimension 4100 which will not record anything
on either the DVD drive or the 3 1/2" drive. They read out ok!
I re-installed Windows ME with a disk someone sent me but the
drives still won't record. I think the only solution is to re-install the
original program, Windows Me, that the machine came with.

Do you have a mail address to request the recovery disk? I have
a hearing problem and when I contact Dell by phone, I get
someone who has such a bad accent speaking English that I
cannot understand them! And, they don't seem to understand
what I need.

I am the original owner and at the same location and I have
the service code.
