Greetings to the list,

Since I can't find my Dantz Retrospect disc, I need suggestions for a
replacement. (Hopefully cheap)

I'll describe a recovery I did in the past. Ran all updates (Windows,
AV, etc) installed Retrospect, and ran a total system backup to a second
HDD, and copied the backup files to USB HDD, and DVD. Later on down the
road when the inevitable system crash occurred, I did a destructive
restore (aka factory restore) re-installed Retrospect, and ran the
backup. Two reboots and roughly an hour later, it was as if the crash
had never occurred.

What I need is something along those lines, with XP SP2 compatibility
being a must, and Vista (at least Home Premium) being optional.
Automatic backup isn't really a concern, as long as a total backup can
be done.

Thanks in advance
