Mis-read original, sorry. The name is the title of the web page (ending in
browser name) and you are stuck. Dan, KI6X

That is your TaskBar and not part of the browser. Dan, KI6X

In the XP OS when you select your browser from the Desktop with a double
click, your home page is whatever you have specified at Start/Control
Panel/Network and Internet Connections/Internet Options/Home Page, or some
other path to this place. Shortly afterwards, a blue (default) tab on the
status bar containing the Start button at the left and the system clock on
the right appears.

If you wish to rename what appears on this tab, does anyone know who you do
so?

John W0IKT
