Depending on the type of data, I can offer 2 suggestions

1) Sign up for a free gmail account and send the data to yourself in an
email.......  7gb storage and growing daily

2) An online site  eg:  www.mediafire.com

Both options work well, and I can personally recommend mediafire, you can
password protect your files, and you also have the option to share
