[Ham-Computers] RE: "Live" Linux CD's, WAS: windows - linux

I never use anything from Microsoft, though the
children do for their learning games.  Problem
is that there are so many incompatibilities and
driver problems and lock-ups those apps are
proving to be more trouble than they are worth.

I am looking for replacements in the Linux world
and hope to banish anything MS from the house!

I hate tax stuff, it's worth a few dollars to let
someone who likes that to do it for us!
