Hi all - It turns out that F2 is the boot into BIOS and F12 will give me
a boot choice menu...this is the newest Toshiba A250 Laptop....I looked
all through the BIOS for a prompt that said "disable the native SATA
mode" and there is not one..... I know there must be a way to change
back to XP anyone here with a Toshiba laptop done this? I suppose I
could get a 4 GB USB disk and load XP imto that and load from that but
it seems ashame to have a 110GB HDD sitting idle especially since we
wanted to record our camera's on the weekend to the HDD....anyone tried
this does it work? Appreciate the help 73 Johnny

I just reformatted and installed XP but you must go into bios and disable the native SATA mode. Wont make any difference on XP because only Vista uses the native mode.
