A update to my original post:
I thought there might be a virus because of the weird things that were going
on and was too quick to blame the Son and his browsing habbits.
Because of all the problems, I decided to re-format and start again.
99% of the problems are now gone, so it must have been some
program/software that was installed.
I am now in the process of reinstalling the original software ~ one at a
time ~ and will see if one particular program causes the problem.
Thanks to all for their suggestions. . . .
Gene, WØQFC

Anyone tried NOD32 Anti Virus. You need to defrag, Run Clean up utility. Its
sounds to me like you MIGHT have a full hard drive and it needs 10% free
space to function. DELETE all cookies.
