It just seems to run better with 2GB rather than 1 (although my home "internet" box is only running 1GB). I work in IT, and I've seen a lot of machines that were "under-RAMmed" - and more memory almost always speeds them up. That's not really a fault of the machines, but rather that the programs we all use (and hate?) keep getting bigger - including AVG, it seems.
Vista for sure really likes having more memory!
