[Ham-Computers] Mixing hard drive types?

Phil, if your just going to use it as a storage drive, I don't see any 
problem.
If you want to partition the whole drive as one drive your going to have 
to use NTFS.
If it were me, I would partition it as 2 drives.
With all the drive space you will have, you should give Ubuntu, or some 
other Linux a try.
