IIRC they just released the beta (Release Candidate).


This is a good one to avoid, even for rabid MS fans.
The business rule of thumb is to wait six months to install the latest 
and greatest, at which point (hopefully) the bugs will be worked out of 
it.  Or the first service pack will be out.

This particular pack looks pretty interesting, as XP will get faster, 
compared to Vista, whose pack will actually make it slower.  Vista is a 
boat anchor - businesses and consumers are avoiding it in droves.
