I've had a real blast coming back from vacation.  The first time, my 
brother called to tell me the house more than likely had 18" of water in 
it - we were a federal disaster area. (fortunately we didn't get hit)

The next time, as the plane was taxi-ing to the runway, they announced 
we had just bombed Iraq.  My wife, never a good flier, was not 
impressed.  I had to keep explaining that she could NOT roll the window 
down.
