[Ham-Computers] cd conversion

.MP3 is a compression method and many (most) CD players will NOT play them.
They are what is used on most music players (MP3 players) to save space.
You might specify what the extension is on the files on the CD. This may
indicate how they were stored and what is needed to get them onto a CD (such
as needing to convert to WAV first, or CD-writing program will do the
conversion, etc.). I forget also if you listed the CD writing program you
are using.

Thanks, you are being a BIG help. I am Not at all familar with computer
workings. SOoo What is an MP3? Could they play in an external CD player? I
was once told " the only stupid question is one that you never asked"
