[Ham-Computers] sound recording

Thanks for the tips. I have the sound recorder working and I am on Echo link 
just fine.
 However I still can't get my tape recorder to work on the recorder. When i 
made up a cable and attached it to  head phones I noticed that the audio was 
very low. I am thinking of a mismatch between the tape recorded out put and 
the computer. If so , is there any way that i can get the ohms to match???
