[Ham-Computers] Re Dumping The Vault

Hello All,

I am using the free version of the AVG software.

I was told that after thirty days the virus vault emptied itself. However, 
it appears to me that it has some items in it from several years ago.

Should I empty the virus vault periodically or not? What, if any, is the 
'risk' associated with doing so?
