Kurt,
I wasn't following this thread so I don't know why you or someone else wanted
to recover a .TMP file but Windows XP, like 2000, does have undelete
capability, but it isn't called that. And many programs that create temporary files
don't clean up there mess, which you will find in the designated temporary
directory (oops, showing my age - folder). But files deleted by a Windows program
that does clean up its mess should go into the Recycle Bin, which is folder
almost like any other. It can be seen by Windows Explorer including its
contents. If you delete a file and late decide you shouldn't have, if you can find
it in the Recycle Bin, highlite it, right click, and it will be restored to
its original location. Usually. There are several caveats.
