Yes, 32MB was probably the max available at the time. I'm a bit
doubtful of the 128MB module though (more so over the 64MB module). The
1130t and the higher-end Armada "7700" series laptops share the same
memory modules, so this company might just be using that inference to
say that the 1130t will accept the 128MB module. I wish I knew where my
old Compaq service reference guides are - there would be a definitive
answer there!

If you can confirm that they will refund/exchange the RAM if it doesn't
work, it might be worth trying. Just make sure they'll cover costs in
shipping both ways. And pay with a credit card (for buyer protection)!

Hi Aaron,

Yeah I see that now after searching some.... I just found this and it
says it can support up to 144MB RAM... so who knows... lol

The manual I have for the laptop says 32MB, but I wonder if that was all
that was available at the time of production?

	Hi Jonathan,

A quick Google shows that the Armada 1130t uses 60ns EDO RAM
(not SDRAM)
in a 144-pin SODIMM package. Prices for the 32MB module range
from $12
	to $30.

I've found conflicting info on the max amount of RAM the system
will
recognize. Some sources say 48MB and others say 80MB (using a
32MB or
64MB SODIMM, respectively). Unfortunately, I can't find the
original
Compaq quickspecs for the 1130t to verify. Most likely, "newer"
revisions of the 1130t were able to handle the 64MB module (or
it may
have just required a newer BIOS). Safest best is with a 32MB
module,
although Win9x will run better with the 64MB module. One place
sells
	the 64MB modue for $17.

FYI, the original Compaq part number for the 32MB module is
220580-001.
If you Google on this term, you'll find plenty of vendors.

	i'm looking for a 32MB memory stick for a compaq armada 1130T
laptop.
I'm not sure if it is PC-66 or PC-100 I am assuming that it is
PC-66.
I got this laptop for free it only has 16MB Ram and windows 95
so i'm
not looking to spend a fortune on it. I'm using it as a radio
	programming laptop.

	Thanks,
