Hi All,
I am using Windows XP Home Edition and whatever version of MSIE that it came
with. Version 6.0?
I logged onto a web site. It asked for my call sign and password. I typed
them in. It asked if I wanted to save the information to Windows so I would
not have to type it in in the future? I said 'yes'.
Well, somehow I managed to type in the same information the next time I went
to this web site. It said that my new password did not match what was
already stored in Windows. Did I want to make the new password the one I
wanted saved? I said yes. The result was a duplication of the password in
the field.
Realizing this, I went to the end of the password field and backspaced
through all of the asterisks. When all were gone, I typed in the correct
password. It asked me again since the password I just typed did not match
the one stored, if I wanted to replace what was stored with the new one?
Since I believed that it was now correct, I said 'yes'.
The program does not work.
I need to know how to remove the password. I looked in MSIE under 'Tools',
Internet Options. I found a button to clear cookies, temporary internet
files and history. Nothing about a password.
Keeping in mind that I am totally blind, please tell me how to clear the
passwords when in MSIE.
Thank you.
