Download Puppy Linux 4.0 and burn an ISO CD, or order a CD,
and then boot your PC from the CD.

and on the Puppy Forum at: http://murga-linux.com/puppy/
From the Puppy Menu open SETUP - PUPPY UNIVERSAL INSTALLER
and follow the instructions (at one point you may choose to
overwrite the existing HDD contents).
OR
From the Puppy Menu open SYSTEM - GParted Partition Manager
and follow the instructions there to reformat your HDD.
If you plan to load Puppy choose "ext2" and then add a Linux
Swap Partition of 512M or 1g, unless you have a ton of RAM.
