[Ham-Computers] Help!

Hello, Ken. Many restore discs, and OS installation discs will boot in the
newer computers. I just redid my Windows XP with a regular copy (not a
restore disc), and had the options to repartition the drive, and it
formatted the resulting C: partition. I'm not sure if your Dell disc offers
this, but a regular Windows or Linux installation should. I've used RedHat
and Fedora Linux by downloading the ISO disc image file, burning it, and
booting from the install disc. Never had a hitch.

73,

Adam, N8YD
