I just checked Symantec's site.
While you were removing, did you remember to turn off System Restore and 
boot into safe mode?

If so, did you scan again while in safe mode?  You can get a lot more 
done with less damage.

While in the registry (after backing it up), you can search for similar 
values to the ones listed, as well as the ones listed in other places.
