Hi Jerry,

Not sure what you mean by "lost my system restore".  Are you talking about a vendor's system restore program/partition that helps you restore the system back to it's original configuration, or are you talking about the "System Restore" feature in Windows XP/Vista?

If it's a vendor's system restore app/partition, you'll probably need to get another copy from the vendor - either on a CD or a download.  If you post the brand and model of your system, someone on the list might be able to send you a copy.

If it's Windows XP, right-click on "My Computer" -> "Properties".  Click on the "System Restore" tab and check or uncheck the "Turn off System Restore" box to enable/disable System Restore.
