No, sorry. Don't know the details of any AMD/Excel 2007 issue(s). I would't doubt that they exist - writing code that's compatible across two different platforms isn't easy, even if one platform is code-compatible with the other.
Math problems are somewhat common for most CPU's. Remember the original Pentium math bug? And, due to "binary" precision, some numbers right of the decimal point are problematic if you don't have enough bits to represent the number. In fact, there are many decimal values to the right of the decimal point that can't be represented exactly and approximations are all that's possible. Some of the more common mis-calculated computations are actually hard-coded with the proper result to ensure a valid value (that's how they fixed the original Pentium math bug).
Anyways, when I can, I'll do some research on Excel 2007 and post some findings later.
