[Ham-Computers] USB Hub $6. at Big Lots Has External Power Connector

If you need a USB hub and want it useful across
Apple, Linux, or MS then the $6. one at Big Lots
makes sense.

It is actually this one:

It *can* draw power from the USB hub but for many
laptops and some tiny PC's you may want to use an
external/independent power source (reduce load and
heat stress).

The Big Lots device has a DC port but it is unmarked
and nothing is mentioned on the package either. Since
it is the same as the Iogear (it's labeled Travel Solutions)
so it needs 5VDC at 2.6A (common cylindrical connector).
