[Ham-Computers] Items in Desktop Folder not seen on Desktop

It looks like I have a hard drive problem.  Another person suggested 
running Dell Diagnostics, which I did (it's a Dell laptop). I have 
one or two "uncorrectable data errors".  Other than the icon problem, 
the computer runs fine but it is time to get another hard drive.
