[Ham-Computers] DVD error.

Hi Dave, Robert & Susan,

Would you happen to know what the problem is with my DVD -
when booting up, the light flickers momentarily as it does every
time I boot up but for a long time now, it then makes six
positive blinks but I cannot get it to do anything. The tray 
ejects and retracts but nothing will happen. I tried going to My
Computer, accessing "Compact Disc (D:) but unable to get
any action.
Would the six positive blinks each time I boot up indicate an
error? Any idea how I can find out?
