[Ham-Computers] VHS to DVD

Dan is correct. I was viewing it from a different perspective. I think that 
the DVD itself may limit the recording speed, as mine are marked 4X-16X. 
There is tremendous variety and quality difference among the various DVD 
brands, so read carefully before you buy!

I am with Dan, two hours is as much as I would ever use and still retain 
good resolution. Every time anything is copied, data is lost. When you 
increase recording time past 1:1, you decrease the quality.
