Wish I could help but in addition to carefully
avoiding anything from the Microsoft monopoly I am
old school and prefer to code in simple HTML.
FrontPage is typical of MS products, it produces
bulky sloppy code that is not compatible across
all of the Web browsers out there.
It really is quite easy to use simple HTML and
most anything the average user needs may be done
there, perhaps with a small Java or PHP app here
and there - and they are available for free
download.
If you look on my home page I have a date display
at the top -- and it repeats on all of my pages --
it came from http://javascriptsource.com/
There are some nice free HTML tutorials online which
include sample code you may cut and paste as you
build your own site.
