[Ham-Computers] RE: Printer Problems

Hmmm, never heard of a printer that prints a "test/alignment" page before every print.  A "banner" page (a "front" page that identifies the printout), yes - this is usually a setting in the printer control panel.  But banner pages are rarely enabled in home environments.

Do you happen to know what brand and model printer?

Usually my computer will tell me when one of the cartridges needs to be
changed -- and then I always wait until it actully runs dry.  I haven't
