[Ham-Computers] Outlook Express Problem

Herb,

Someone may yet post the "real" answer but here's what I know.  We use W2K 
instead of XP and I am not sure what the equivalent names are in XP but go and 
look in Add/Remove Programs, Windows Components.  In W2K, I see both IE6 and 
Outlook Express, with a checkmark in the selection boxes indicating that they 
are installed.  Unchecking the boxes on this machine and continuing would 
uninstall them (save your IE6 Favorites list somewhere first, and backup Outlook 
Express).  Then to reinstall, I would need the original OS CD plus would have to 
go through the Update site rigamarole.
