[Ham-Computers] Cell fone/computer hook up

Thanks for the reply and info.
I tried the bitpim program but it will not detect my V3r RAZR phone.
The phone is connected via a USB cable and the software wants a comm port; I 
found no way to change it. Auto detect did not work.

Any ideas or another program that might work????
