there's a very good reason for this: it's to see that there are no false 
positives.

No spam filter is perfect.  If you believe one is, you'll be deleting 
potentially valuable email.

Unless you hire a really bright person to do it for you, it's highly 
unlikely.

Sorry - it's the nature of the beast.


I run a filter where I work, which serves hundreds of mailboxes.  It's 
pretty accurate, but I always check what it catches.  Over 86% of the 
daily mail we receive is spam.  On the weekends, it's up to 97% or so.

Spammers are ruining things for us.
