It is most likely an OS issue. There are many things that can kill kernel32
however. There are also some spyware problems that memic kernal32, however
most of those place a copy of it it a different default folder. There is
just not enough information given.

791d8551a0 and see if someone there can help you determine if there is
spyware on your computer.
I would highly suggest that you upgrade your OS to something other than ME.
I know of a few shops that will not even work on a computer that has ME on
it. Microsoft even jokes about how bad of an OS that is. When I go to some
MS meetings they have us rate the session on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being
the best thing ever and a 1 being "worse than windows ME."
If you are even considering purchasing a new computer, wait till Oct 26.
That is when Microsoft is set to make coupons available for a free upgrade
to Vista.

My mom has a older Compaq computer, Compaq Presario 5000 running Windows
Millenium and has been having problems not being able to log onto her Yahoo
mail.
I wrote down what she's getting on the screen and this is what it says.
As a side note she only gets this when trying to access her Yahoo mail, no
other time does she see the following.
msvcrt.dll pops up in 1 window and when she hits the X, then she gets this,
kernel32.dll
Is this spyware or is her version of Windows corrupt?
I remember seeing kernel32 somewhere long time ago, but can't remember what
it was about.
Suggestions...Comments...

Brian
