Hello,
Isn't Microsoft guilty of enough anti-trust violations and monopoly
allegations without making your Outlook software useless. I would uninstall
the last security measure if I could because it was a stealth software
killer :) If that is there idea of updates I would never accept another.

Subject: [Ham-Computers] Latest XP Security Updates

I updated to last 4 MS Security Updates last night on my WinXP Home
computer. Well today my MS Outlook 2000 does not work properly. Whenever I
try to respond to a message, Outlook 2000 hangs up and if I wait, the entire
computer hangs up.
If I try to close the Outlook Program via the Windows Task Manager, I can
get it shut down sometimes. After sending the reports to MS that they ask
for and clicking on how to fix this problem, I get a MS window which states,
that they will not fix Outlook 2000 and I need to update to a later version
of Outlook.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, what can I do to resolve
it without upgrading from Outlook 2000?
Hopefully this message makes it out. If it does, it is the first one today.
Have had to reboot at least a half dozen times already today to try to send
a message.
Thanks,
Herb
