Here's a tidbit...  our dear friends at Verizon have a `cap' on their
Treos (pda phone) so you can't use them as modems.  They prefer to
charge you for voice, data, PLUS extra for data.

Nice racket, guys.


Warning for potential Treo purchasers:  if you buy a Treo 700w, you'll
get the Windows Mobile operating system.  

If you buy a 650 or 700p, you'll get the Palm OS.  Think very carefully
and do your research.
