Gene,
There are dozens like this. If you do not mind DOS, Professional File does
an incredible job. I used it for dozens of years while on tour to handle
direct PR mailing.
Remember this though. You still need to input the data and although it is
time consuming, accurate and detailed information always pays off!
Come to think of it, I wrote one that was for inventory purposes, not parts,
but the same thing by another name. If you do not find anything suitable or
at the right price, let me know. As a programmer then I wrote this for speed
on a 4.77 MHZ machine using a bubble sort I wrote. It akes up 10K! Nowadays
that would be probably 150 Meg!
