[Ham-Computers] Help About 'Collapsed' Mail

Hello All,

All of a sudden I am 'seeing' the word collapsed in front of e-mail that has
been in my "in box" for a week or so. There is nothing different about the
pieces of e-mail this word appears before, they do not contain any
attachments or anything else unusual, so far as I can tell. I do have a
secure firewall and up to date virus scanner operating.

Today when I tried to delete a piece of e-mail that was junk mail, up popped
this message. Did I also want to delete collapsed mail too? Or not? Or don't
show me this again." I pressed "no", as I was unsure waht it was and why it
appeared.

I am assuming that 'collapsed' is the same as compressed? Is there some
default setting in XP Home Edition and/or OE V6.0 that compresses the
contents of a folder when a specific number of items is in it? If so, where
do I find it and how do I change the number or simply turn it off?

Thank you.
