Better yet, use Daemon-Tools. Like Slysoft's CloneDrive, Daemon-Tools
is a CD/DVD drive emulator that will mount most of the current known
CD/DVD "Image" file formats (.iso, .nrg, .bin, .ccd, .mds, others).
Daemon-Tools also emulates many CD/DVD protection "schemes" and can
stealth itself from certain programs that look for virtual drives
(CloneDrive is prone to "virtual drive software is installed and this
program won't install until you remove it" messages). Well supported
and, best of all, it's free!

Highly recommended. All of my commonly used CD's are in some image
format and I use Daemon-Tools to mount them. BTW, Daemon-Tools can
emulate up to 4 virtual drives at once. There's also a paid "Pro"
version with many more features.

p.s. For archiving CD's, the .CCD or .MDS formats are probably the best
choice. These include info about any "strange" CD formats/blocks that
may exist on the CD and Daemon-Tools will use this info, if needed. I
won't define "strange"...many of you know what I mean. <g>

Get Virtual Clone Drive from
http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html
It's free, and you can use it to mount ISO images and run them just as
though they were an actual cd in the drive.
