I've been using W98SE on an 80586, 100MHz, 38 MB RAM and 1.2GB drive without
problems since 1999, when I was dragged into using it kicking and screaming
just to get my e-mail which no longer supported windows 3.11 W98SE works
fine with this minimal system. Windows 95 works well down to 40 MHz and 16
MB RAM on 540 MB drive, haven't tried it below that.
