Does anyone know how you would be able to tell if someone else was using 
your wireless network like a neighbor?


Http into your router (default is usually 192.168.0.1 -check your manual).  turn off your machines. There will be some function that will show you what is connected.

That answers the immediate question but the larger one is that the router should be set up so that all but the most determined hackers can't get in.  Check your manual...

Use high security, put in your machines' MAC addresses so the router will only allow them to connect. Use a different channel and a long,secure pw.
