Aaron,
This worked well on a W2K machine, too. Sorta wonder why it isn't turned on
by default (at OS install time). Finally found and removed the driver for the
previous Sony monitor, that I knew was still in there somewhere. I would add
that if you have any intermittently connected USB devices (like the Flash
Memory reader for our Nikon cameras), plug it or them in before you go a'looking,
so that you don't delete the one(s) that are actually used. I found for
example three each of several things associated with the Flash reader, probably
caused by me improperly unplugging it right after we first started using it.
Plugging in the reader showed me which ones the system was actually using.
