[Ham-Computers] IE 6 Problem

I have a problem that I wonder if anyone knows what could have changed.

I have a site I go to where I trade stocks. This site has a real time 
streamer for stock prices.

When you go to the site and launch the streamer it runs a java script that 
starts an applet  which loads and then displays the real time list with 
data. This used to work but now when the launch window opens it has a box 
with an x in it where the launch info should appear and does not launch.

This streamer works fine with Mozilla with the proper java program running. 
What could have changed? Any ideas? Corrupt file?

I am running WIN98SE
