[Ham-Computers] Blind Man Needs Help Creating Label

Hello All,

I have three different software programs that are capable of creating an
insert for either CD jewel or Slimline cases. However, since I am totally
blind, and the computer speaks the screen contents to me via synthetic
speech, it is imperative that the position of the mouse pointer and the
screen reading software curser, occupy the exact same position at the same
moment in time. If they do not, then the JFW curser, (the screen reading
software is JAWS For Windows, or JFW), will not tell me correctly what is in
the location of the mouse pointer. Hence, I have no idea where I am on the
screen or what is on the line I am currently on. There is a way to fix this,
but doing so is an extremely complex procedure that requires me to map out
the entire screen, with sighted assistance, to create what is known as a
'configuration file'. Not practical in this case. Hence, consider the issue
as insolueable.

Here is what I need desperately, as I am on a time limit with my back
already against the wall.

I must create a front cover insert for a Slimline CD case. It is primarily
text, it can be black on white, preferably black on a light blue background
(the card stock used for the insert could be blue, if it can be purchased in
color, or the background of the text window could be blue, the entire insert
cover does 'not' need to be lue!), and could, but does not have to, have a
color graphic design for artistic eye appeal.

What is it for? A music CD. The front cover insert will have the group's
name, title of the album, contact info and list of ten song titles in the
recorded play order.

I plan to use the two labels per sheet stock that is available in packages
of 25 sheets. You can print 50 front cover inserts with this stock for the
Slimline cases. It is designed so that after printing each label can be torn
out and used immediately. No additional cutting or trimming is needed.

I have the best luck here, at least with the screen reading software, using
either Nero Vision Express version 6.0 or the top of the line product, Nero
Vision Ultra version 6.6. Hence, if you are willing to help me, using the
same program would enable you to either send me the finished product by
e-mail as an attachment or burn it to a CD and mail it to me. Then I can
load it into the Nero program, load the printer and hopefully print the
labels I need.

This doubtless sounds like such a simple thing to you, and it is.
Unfortunately, when you can not see, it is niether simple or easy to do! It
is frustrating as heck! Especially when one must depend on a sighted helper
to describe to you what he/she is seeing. If the helper is good at
descriptions, and can remember right from left, (very common for sighted
people to forget to reverse the right and left when they view it from a
different orientation than the other person!), then it is quite easy to
understand. Unfortunately finding a person who is both good at describing
what they see, and is available, is very difficult! So what to you is
simple, can be a real challenge to someone who is blind, deaf, in a
wheelchair, unable to read even though they have normal eyesight etc.

Enough said.

If one of you are able and willing to assist me, please contact me off list.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this.
