you could use the trusted and untrusted zones in IE to not trust that
page.  You could also add it to your HOSTS file like so:

127.0.0.0	www.sitename.com

and whatever the site is won't come up.

This is a trick used by malware to block access to antivirus sites.


Personally, I avoid IE, as it's full of holes.
