Phil,
I'm not sure about XP but under W2K on our main machine here I still run
several of DOS based programs, one of which (DIRMATCH run out of PFM) has to run
full screen to work properly. On a W2K (and I think 95 and WFWG) <ALT-ENTER>
puts the active (DOS in this case) window into full screen mode. And to get
between it and anything else running, I use <ALT-TAB>. The DOS version with W2K
is I think descended from 6.22. I don't know what might come with XP, if
anything.
