Gene,

One possibility (but it is not free!) would be to use one of the third part 
sites that have sprung up to support people selling on eBay who were 
dis-satisfied with the management tools eBay offers.  I don't know how many there are 
but for historical reasons we use one called Andale.com.  They have a 
store-front that uses the same inventory and ad database as would be used for auctions 
but is direct access (not connected in any way with any of the auction sites).  
They offer image hosting and have an off-line tool called ListerPro for 
entering data, which is then uploaded to the site as a batch.  If you want to see 
what a small store looks like, the link to ours is below.  The store has all 
the usual features you would expect, search, shopping cart, payment, etc. and if 
you only have one of most items, it won't let two people buy the same one.

But again, it ain't free.  TANSTAAFL.
