Thanks.  Being FREE can be a plus or a minus.  Sometimes you get what you pay 
for!!!  That's why I was curious whether anyone had any operational 
experience with it.  

Although I wouldn't mind not having to pay for it, I didn't/don't consider 
Norton's annual renewal fee as being onerous.  But...  I've experience with IS 
2003, 2004 and 2005, and consider 2003 as giving the least trouble.  However, 
although they are still supplying automatic updates for it, when I had a 
problem a few months back, I discovered it's no longer "officially" supported.  I 
couldn't get any help from them.  Like everyone else from candy to car makers, 
they want you to buy this year's version.  Plus having it installed 
significantly increases the reboot time on a W2K workstation.
