So what do you want? A medal to pin on your bare chest that says "Take this disk
and shove it, not there, in the CD tray! I don't take no spit from anyone, mine
works just fine thank you!" (rolling on floor laughing self right into muscle
spasms and making the local Chiropractor wealthy!)
Seriously, you probably get a CD that is lint free using your method! Go for it!

I usually spit on them and wipe them on my pants or workshirt for the day.
