[Ham-Computers] Network Problem

Thank you for the offer!
First, the Belkin router & cable modem network is working as it should.
It is the second network that I am having problems with.
Recap:
I have two NIC cards in the host computer, one for the cable modem and one 
for the second network.
The second NIC goes to a hub and additional computers are connected to the 
hub.
The reason for two networks is that I want to isolate certain computers (and 
NOT have them directly connected to the cable modem).
The problem with the second NIC is that the status shows "LIMITED OR NO 
CONNECTIVITY" and the two computers on the hub can not communicate with each 
other....
